What Happens After You Get in Touch

No sales pitch, no pressure to sign anything on the spot. Here is the actual sequence.

1. We call you back

Within 24 hours on a business day, usually much sooner. If you call during business hours a person answers — you are not going into a voicemail queue. We ask what you are seeing, how old the roof is, and whether there is active water coming in, because that changes how fast we need to be there.

2. We look at the roof

The inspection is free and there is no obligation attached to it. We get on the roof, check the attic where we can, and photograph what we find. If your roof has years left in it, that is what we will tell you — we have talked plenty of homeowners out of a replacement they did not need.

3. You get a written estimate

Itemized, in writing, with the material and underlayment named and the decking allowance spelled out. Take it and compare it — here is how to compare roofing estimates line by line so you know you are pricing the same roof three times, not three different roofs.

4. If you go ahead

We pull the permit, schedule the crew and handle the inspections. Our roofing process walks through install day hour by hour, including what you should move off the walls and out of the driveway the night before.

What to Have Ready

None of this is required — call us with nothing but an address and we will still come out. But if you have it handy, the first conversation gets a lot more useful:

  • Roughly how old the roof is. Even “it was on when we bought in 2011” helps. If you are not sure, the permit record usually tells us.
  • Photos of what you are seeing. A ceiling stain, a missing shingle in the yard, a wet spot in the garage. Text them to us — you do not need to get on the roof, and please do not.
  • Whether you have filed an insurance claim yet. The order matters more than most people expect. Here is how a Florida roof claim actually works.
  • Any other estimates you already have. We are happy to walk through someone else’s line by line with you.
  • Your HOA situation, if you have one. Some Volusia County associations need architectural approval before work starts, and that runs on their calendar, not ours.

Roof Leaking Right Now?

Call 386-392-8952 rather than using the form. The form goes to email and gets picked up in business hours; an active leak does not wait for Monday.

While you are waiting for us, the first hour matters:

  • Move what you can out from under it and put a container down.
  • If the ceiling is bulging with trapped water, a small hole at the low point drains it into a bucket instead of letting the whole sheet of drywall come down.
  • Photograph everything before you clean any of it up. Your insurer will want it.
  • Stay off the roof, especially in the rain. Tarping a wet roof is how people get badly hurt.

Where We Work

We are based in Port Orange and work across Volusia County and the surrounding Central Florida area. Local means local here — the crew that shows up is the same crew, and the owner is on the job.

Port Orange • Daytona Beach • New Smyrna Beach • Ormond Beach • Ormond-by-the-Sea • South Daytona • Holly Hill • Edgewater • DeLand • Deltona • DeBary

Not on the list? Call anyway. If you are outside the area we will say so rather than waste your afternoon.

Before You Call Anyone — Check the License

This is worth two minutes on any roofer you talk to, including us. Look the number up at MyFloridaLicense.com under DBPR license search and confirm it is active and the name matches the company on the contract.

Ours: CCC 1327602 (roofing) and CGC 1509441 (general contractor). More about the company and the people behind it, including our CertainTeed ShingleMaster credential and dual Master Craftsman certifications.

If someone knocked on your door after a storm and is pushing you to sign today, read the storm-chaser warning signs first.

Still deciding? The roofing FAQ answers what a roof costs here, what insurance covers, how permits work and what our warranty includes. You can also see photos of finished jobs near you or read what customers have said.

Already worked with us? Leaving a review takes about a minute and it is genuinely how people in Volusia County find us.
